DESCRIPTION:On November 16\, 2024\, Ballet Icyeza was invited to perform in Brussels as part of the “Traditional Night” organized by East African Vibes. The event was held at the Birmingham Event Center where Ballet Icyeza shared the stage with renowned Rwandan Gakondo artist Ruti Joel together with Lionel Sentore among other performers delivering a captivating performance. \nBallet Icyeza together with all invited artists created an immersive experience for the audience through good music and dances. It was not only a night of entertainment and celebration but also an opportunity for Rwandans to reconnect with their roots and celebrate the cultural experience together. This concert highlighted the importance of cultural initiatives in strengthening the bond among Rwandans living abroad and introducing our culture to the outside world. It was indeed a night to be reminded that we are Rwandans at heart despite where we are in the present world. \nWritten by: Lise Kamanzi.
